About me
In 2015, I was navigating the best possible approach to address a torn hip labrum. This stupid gym injury had left me in a constant state of pain. The first specialist said I would need surgery right away. The second specialist said to wait until pain was unbearable, then have surgery.

My husband and I happen to watch the documentary, Forks Over Knives. It sparked my curiosity. If plant-based nutrition could prevent and/or reverse cancer, surely it can heal the body in other ways. Without even knowing much, I made the decision to experiment (why not, right?). I slowly began swapping ingredients and shifting to plant-based alternatives.
In parallel, I absorbed thousands of hours of podcasts, TED Talks, books, clinical research, documentaries, etc. I ended up obtaining my Plant-Based Nutrition Certification from eCornell.
I never ended up having the surgery as my pain decreased. I began experiencing other benefits too.

Through my research, I became aware of the positive world impact that could be achieved through something as simple as more people eating more plants. I became deeply passionate about helping others on this journey of discovery and change.
